Few would contest that Chakravarthy is currently fully prepared for both limited-overs formats, even though it is pointless to argue whether or not he was prepared for international cricket in the past.
Chakravarthy’s unmatched potential led to a last-minute switch ahead of the current ICC Champions Trophy, just as the selection committee gave him the same preference for the 2021 World Cup.
