John Cena’s record-tying victory in the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 makes history

With his historic triumph at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, John Cena ended his losing run and earned his record-tying fourth Elimination Chamber victory. Cena defeated formidable opponents like CM Punk and Seth Rollins in an exciting bout that was full of surprises, eliminations, and dramatic confrontations.

High-stakes action filled the men’s Elimination Chamber match, which preceded the main event of the evening, which included Cody Rhodes’ choice about The Rock’s offer. The fight had a significant impact on WWE’s path to WrestleMania since it might have resulted in a babyface changing or a heel winner making a comeback in the main event. The thrilling comeback of Jade Cargill in the women’s Chamber match earlier in the evening added to the excitement in the men’s Chamber.

Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins began the battle, reigniting their feud from WrestleMania 40. Logan Paul made a spectacular entrance, waving an American flag to jeers from the Canadian audience, followed by CM Punk and John Cena. One of Paul’s shenanigans was to graffiti-tag his pod with the word “OVO” in respect of Drake, a Canadian hip-hop artist who was present.

As eliminations progressed, Logan Paul used a spectacular Frog Splash from the top of the pod to remove Damian Priest after Priest had already eliminated McIntyre. In what was to be his last Elimination Chamber fight, Cena unleashed a barrage of his trademark attack, stunning fans with a Five Knuckle Shuffle on Paul and an Attitude Adjustment on Rollins.

A historic matchup was set up by the final three, Cena, Punk, and Rollins, who together held 26 world titles. Rollins targeted Punk and sent Cena through a glass pod as they exchanged finishes and submission attempts. After hitting Punk with a Pedigree and a Buckle Bomb, Rollins seemed to be on the verge of winning, but Cena’s pivotal distraction changed the tide. Rollins was eliminated when Punk and Cena took advantage of the situation and executed their finishes on him.

When Rollins was removed from the picture, Cena and Punk engaged in combat that had the audience standing. In the closing seconds, Cena used an Attitude Adjustment to counter a crossbody from Punk, securing the win and solidifying his legacy in WWE. The victory marks a victorious comeback for the seasoned superstar on his way to WrestleMania, tying Cena with Triple H for the most Elimination Chamber triumphs ever.

Cena’s win opens up some exciting possibilities for WWE as it moves forward. The aftermath of Elimination Chamber 2025 is expected to influence one of the most anticipated WrestleMania events in recent memory, as rivalries are growing and emotions are running high.
