The gifted Indian cricket player Sanskriti Gupta is well-known for her left-handed batting and right-arm off-break bowling. She started playing cricket in the sixth grade after being born in Madhya Pradesh in 2004.

Her father and uncles played a variety of sports, thus her family had a strong sporting heritage and fostered her early love of the game.
